WITS – Women in Travel Summit

On the road to WITS16

WITS16, here I come! I am on my way to my first travel writer and blogger conference. WITS16 – Women in Travel Summit 2016-  is being held in fabulous Irvine, California near Newport Beach. I am so excited to network with other travel writers and bloggers, learn techniques and tips from industry professionals to turn my blog from a hobby to a profitable income source , and to connect with brands and sponsors in the travel world.

GETTING THERE

I flew from Denver, Co. to Santa Ana, Ca. Flying out of Denver, I was very surprised at how long the lines were.  What a busy airport! The TSA lines were some of the longest I have ever seen, but thankfully they were moving fast and as it turned out, the long lines really was not a big deal.

HELLO CALIFORNIA!

Almost to WITS! Landing in California I saw a sight that you do not see at every airport or even in very many cities. I was reminded  how earth conscience that California is by cutting down on emissions with their electric plug-in stations for electric cars.
